The morning in the jungle began as usual. Lion Kuba, Desert Mouse Patrycja, Giraffe Zofia, and Anteater Alfred gathered on the clearing to start their daily gymnastics.
Kuba, with his hat tilted to the side, was doing bends. Patrycja, holding a magnifying glass, was doing squats. Zofia, reaching high, was stretching her neck. And Alfred… Alfred suddenly froze and began to move his long nose energetically.
„What’s wrong, Alfred?” asked curious Patrycja.
„I sense… something extraordinary” exclaimed Alfred, inhaling deeply. „It’s a scent I’ve never smelled before in the jungle”
The animals stopped exercising and focused on Alfred. Kuba dramatically clutched his head and shouted: „Could it be the scent of danger?”
„Calm down,” said Zofia, „let’s have breakfast first, and then we’ll investigate.”
Each animal reached for their favorite snack. Kuba bit into a steak, Patrycja munched on cheese cookies, Zofia savored palm cookies, and Alfred… Alfred couldn’t focus on his ant snacks.
„This scent… it’s tempting me” groaned Alfred, looking around.
After breakfast, the detectives began their daily advice session for the jungle residents. The first to appear was Elephant Sylwester.
„I have a problem with my trunk,” he complained. „Something always gets stuck in it”
Zofia calmly suggested: „Maybe try wearing a small basket on the end of your trunk? It will catch all the 'surprises’.”
Next was Parrot Pelagia. „I keep repeating everything I hear” she exclaimed.
Patrycja, after a moment of thought, advised: „Try learning new words every day. It will help you control what you say.”
The last to come was Sloth Leon. „I’m always late,” he sighed slowly.
Kuba, with a spark in his eye, suggested: „Maybe start going out a day earlier?”
Suddenly Alfred jumped up. „That scent I smell it again”
The animals decided to start an investigation. Alfred led, sniffing intensely. Kuba dramatically looked around, Patrycja noted everything in her diary, and Zofia observed the terrain from above.
The trail led them to a small clearing, where they found… a huge, colorful flower they had never seen before.
„This must be where the scent comes from” exclaimed Alfred.
Patrycja approached with a magnifying glass. „Fascinating This must be a new species”
Zofia examined it closely. „I’ve never seen such a flower in our jungle.”
Kuba, unable to restrain himself, dramatically announced: „It must be a magical flower that attracts animals with its scent”
Alfred, using his extraordinary sense of smell memory, said: „This scent… reminds me a bit of honey, a bit of fruit, and… cookies?”
Suddenly they heard rustling. From behind the bushes came embarrassed Bear Mateusz, holding an empty jar.
„Sorry,” he mumbled. „It’s my fault. I was making a new jam from fruits and honey, but the jar broke when I was carrying it. The juice soaked into the ground and… this strange flower grew.”
The animals looked at each other and burst into laughter. The mystery was solved!
„Well,” said Alfred, rubbing his nose, „at least we have a new, delicious scent in the jungle”
„And a new, beautiful flower” added Zofia.
„And a new jam recipe to test” exclaimed excited Kuba.
Patrycja, finishing her note in the diary, summarized: „It was really a successful day for our detective agency”
And so, thanks to Alfred’s extraordinary nose, the animals solved another fascinating mystery in their beloved jungle.
